I loved all the character development and backstory in this book. Things seem to be getting pretty intense...and it started to make a picayune more sense? Haha, I'one thousand non really sure. I'm sure the next volume I'll go back to going "I have no idea what is going on" after I idea I was finally starting to effigy it out.

Once more, the main reason I dearest this series is you never really know who the bad guys are. And this volume merely proved it.I loved all the character evolution and backstory in this volume. Things seem to exist getting pretty intense...and information technology started to make a little more than sense? Haha, I'grand not really sure. I'm sure the next volume I'll become dorsum to going "I accept no idea what is going on" subsequently I thought I was finally starting to figure it out.
Boy oh male child practice I love Break! He is so wonderfully fabulous I can't even help it! I loved when he was like "No! Information technology's just diabeteeeees!" and and then outside the font bubble it said "So I've come downwardly with information technology at laaast!" Hilarious! (and no, before you all freak out, I didn't say diabetes was a laughing thing so calm downwards or I'll slap a b*tch)
I'm really going to have to wait til the whole series is out and so re-read it all because the months between volumes, I remember, is only confusing me more than. Simply this is a great series and I love it!

The beauty of this volume is that we re-visit Vincent and Gil'due south twisted human relationship and see how it's driven their choices. Okay, so retrieve how I said I'd never forgive Vincent for what he did to Eko-chan? Well, I notwithstanding won't forgive him, merely reading this volume reminded me of simply how difficult a life he'south had.The beauty of this volume is that we re-visit Vincent and Gil's twisted relationship and see how information technology'southward driven their choices. One of the things I love nearly it is information technology's realistic. Gil isn't so devoted that he doesn't think bad things nigh his brother, and Vincent isn't so blind that he doesn't realize Gil does resent having to watch over a "child of ill omen". I hesitate calling it weakness, because these are children we're talking near. Children tin can be very devoted, only they're too naturally self-centered and I like how that conflict is used in this book to drive the plot.
By the time I'd finished reading their backstory, I felt so deplorable for Gil, but also found myself softening toward Vincent. Yep, he'southward still done terrible things. And yeah, it's never good to do utilise "for somebody else" equally an excuse. But when I saw just how twisted his life had been...well, I'm starting to hope for a lilliputian redemption for him by the stop of this series.
A picayune.
Tying in to that, we see that one of the things that drives Gil is a demand to be everything to his master. And now that Oz is pulling abroad, now that it's starting to become articulate that his globe is expanding, leaving Gil behind, that need has begun to bulldoze him crazy. Why? I can't tell you. Allow'due south just say Intermission figures it out and ends up with a gun pointed at his forehead.
Seriously, if you notice yourself in a position where you've been giving to someone for years, then discover that their need for your help is gone, I think this book does a expert chore of clarifying the confusion and the insane desire to pull your "master" back to you then you tin can keep serving them. Non beingness needed tin can be absolutely terrifying.
Other things I enjoyed in this book:
* Oz. Dang it, Oz is going through the most incredible transformation in this series. I beloved how he'south starting to voice his pain instead of hiding it, and I dear that Alice is the one who's inspiring him to do so. They make the cutest not-romantic couple. :)
* Alice'due south "buss". Hopefully, he was able to get some ice on that soon.
* The consequences of using the Mad Hatter get taken up a notch for Break. Though I have to admit, I actually loved the way he jokes about it.
* Lottie's reaction to Break.
* The mode Break was able to bring Gil to his senses.
* The whole Barma family interests me at present. 3 members show up in this volume and I take so many questions now about how involved they are in this mess.
Anyway, on to volume #11 and then, the latest one, volume #12. Squee! :)

Nevertheless, when he comes to his senses and meets with Oz, they got to see Xai Vessalius, Oz' roughshod begetter, who do
Gil is dealing with his PTSD and thanks to the memories he had access to, now he knows that he has ever tried to protect his blood brother Vincent and his chief, whoever that is. For the fourth dimension beingness, he believes that Jack was his main though he might not be so. Glenn Baskerville was the one who got the blame for the Sablier ending just a lot of things don't seem to be the actual truth.Notwithstanding, when he comes to his senses and meets with Oz, they got to run across Xai Vessalius, Oz' savage father, who doesn't fifty-fifty acknowledge him and treats him worse than trash. Now, I do know why this happens only that doesn't mean it doesn't get to me. Oz has never had a gratuitous will –not really. And fifty-fifty when he was picayune, he was always put abroad, similar something that should be hidden and ashamed.
Gil, as to be expected from a dearest valet, points his gun at Xai merely to empathise that killing him will only injure Oz more. Whilst this disharmonize takes places, it starts raining and Alice meets with Oz again, trying to comfort him before he goes berserk again, and but being there by his side actually helps him.
Now, equally usual, it ends with a cliff-hanger but the more we read, the more we understand that naught is a coincidence.
This volume contains Retrace 38 – 41.

Jun Mochizuki has this knack of twisting your insides out while unveiling the heartbreaking tragedies of her characters. All of the backstories are wrought with difficult emotions that inevitably make y'all all the more fastened to the characters. As Vincent is my favorite hellion, I love his backstory most. Information technology'south amazing to me how his wicked actions are all out of his deep love for Gil.
The resounding theme of this book is the difficulties of relationships, whether bound by claret or friendship. This book does a spectacular job at showing the different dynamics amongst all of the various characters. The chemistry betwixt Oz and Elliot always stirs the deepest reactions in me. Their scenes together are total of comedy, tough-love, and wise lessons near friendship.
There are important revelations near the connections between Gil and Jack; Vincent and Alice; every bit well every bit what happened between best friends, Glen and Jack. I'yard eager to detect out the importance of the mysterious Lacie, particularly since Lacie is an anagram of Alice. Curious, that is.
(view spoiler)[Xai Vessalius, Oz's father, makes a surprise appearance. What a bastard. I honey Elliot all the more than for how he spoke to him in defense of Oz. I'm not aback to admit that I am eagerly awaiting Xai Vessalius' demise and I do promise it is long and torturous. (hibernate spoiler)]
And information technology goes without saying, Break is ABSOFREAKINLUTELY Amazing, as always. Hot damn, he is one bad mutha'ucka! He may well exist in my pinnacle-five favorite manga characters of all time. He'south silly, mischievous, wicked, and a beast with a sword! He kind of reminds me of the Undertaker from Black Butler. I adore him to bits.
This tenth volume is my favorite volume by far in this series. The unveiling mysteries makes this a fun, thrilling read. Non only does information technology proceed you on edge, but the lightheaded sense of humour also keeps you thoroughly entertained. Alice consoling Oz with her interpretation of a buss on the cheek is hilarious! I swear she gets more adorable with each volume. Interruption's excuse for collapsing volition likewise take you laughing out loud. I can't look to read the next volume!

Oh Elliot you take to be my new beloved <3 you make me laugh so hard, and Leo is too ambrosial for words. They are but an amazing pair and then when Oz joins them . . . Pandora Hearts actually is a lot of fun. I continue to get lost in the complexity of the plot between volume releases (I'g not the only 1 that does, right?), only after a quick review, I'grand right dorsum in the thick of things and loving every stride. In this volume, we have more revelations than in past volumes, a nice reward after then many mysteries, so many loose ends, then many questions. These are good reveals, explaining more than characters' motives, more about the tragedy of Sablier, more virtually how everyone ties into the story. Sadly, Gilbert is still one of those characters that grates on my fretfulness. Simply, nosotros've got Break, we've got Oz, and nosotros've got Alice in this book, and I am actually starting to similar Elliot and his valet quite a bit.

I really liked seeing more of Elliot and Leo in this one. Elliot may come off as a wiggle, but he's not like other aristocrats and he's got an interesting perspective that makes me remember.
Elliot: I'm still not yourThe pieces of the puzzle are starting to come up together, though it still difficult to tell who is pulling the strings behind the Abyss. Readers go another glimpse into one of the villain's motivations (or as some might say, the victim'due south), just I still find it hard to feel deplorable for him.
I really liked seeing more of Elliot and Leo in this one. Elliot may come off equally a jerk, just he's not similar other aristocrats and he'south got an interesting perspective that makes me think.
Elliot: I'm still not your friend.
Oz: Why not?
Me: Yes, you are.
I did not, however, like seeing Oz's dad, the jerk. Can't even remember his name. He definitely plays a much bigger role than I originally gave him credit for, and I get the feeling he has more involvement than readers know at this betoken. We shall see…
I gave this book iii/5 stars considering again, I can't think the plot. Simply the characters were nifty! Run into Pandora Hearts, Vol. ane for my recommendation.

This volume, has to be the BEST I have read and then far, and that's saying A LOT, since every volume thus far has been exceptional.
Love and romance, friendship and trust is basically what Pandora Hearts is. Information technology is a beloved story.
Pandora Hearts is a series where yous think you know the answer to something, but you don't. And it's a very well told story. Every detail has meaning, every word, everything, is connected. The characters all are so real, and I have become 100% invested in them to the point that should any of them die, I know I will hurt. All of them mean something to me, and that is something hard to do every bit a writer. To speak to your reader and make you root for them, even the bad guys...speaking of!!
I thought I HATED Vincent-well, I nevertheless hate what he did, simply WOW talk about character depth! I felt soooooo bad for him, I understood him, and the worst part is, he actually wasn't at mistake...
Gilbert, poor guy...I feel for him.
And OZ....your begetter is a BUTT. And notwithstanding, omg....I don't know how to experience near things anymore!!
Jack and Glen were best friends...until something happened to tear them apart and head in their own paths. Existence that this happened over a century ago, they are at present dead...even so, in social club to forestall Glen from coming back, Jack was cutting up into pieces and secured to pillars-you can say-to prevent his return. Morbid. Just, the Baskervilles accept already figured out a way to circumvent that obstacle....
I am very pleased with how this series has kept up information technology's superb story telling, art and suspense. It's been a LONG time since I have final become this invested in a serial, merely that await has been worth it.

We are seeing more memories, which is great, but the characters are having the same reactions to the memories no matter what they are. It would be nice to accept some sort of alternate reaction. Particularly since Alice and Gil are having the aforementioned reactions even though their memories are completely different and should be unlocking different emotions for them. Break makes this entire story though. He has the virtually knowledge, best story line, and is involved in all the grapheme's arcs which makes him perfect. I am invested in this one though, so I will be continuing.
